We invoke the power of the Holy Spirit whose Word comes to us by the Grace of the
Divine Messenger.

We hope and pray, in the quiet of our sacred hearts, that we can rise to level of Soul and
eternally live the Love which is our essential Being. That we can know Bliss, not as an
attribute of our selves but as a defining element of our Consciousness wedded through the
power of Truth to all things, as One.

We give thanks for this day, for the dear Ones who are assembled here and for the
opportunity to share the transcendental Glory of this moment.

We gather here by invitation. We have been chosen to witness and to share
the Celebration of this union of Souls. ____ and ____ are today proclaiming their Love and
their commitment to realize their Oneness as Husband and Wife.

The Divine irony is that it has already happened. Deep in their hearts, in a place known to
exist before Cause, before the transitory body of Time, before utterance or proclamation;
it is Written. As sure as the commandments etched a moral code in stone. As sure as each
of us breathes life in this world. As sure as the destiny of the next breath and of the next
world. It is written.

The Sacred Union is not a new state. It is the primal state. The primordial way of life. The
sum from which all products are derived.

We leave our houses in the morning so that we may return to them at night. Our daily toil
stokes the hearth and brings us warmth and protection from the storm. In the same way,
we enter into Time so that we may know Timelessness.

In our foray into the divisiveness of  worldly existence we struggle with ideas of separation
and doubt, yet continue to dream and remember the continuity of our lives before
separation and without doubt. We know that a clear understanding awaits us. We gain
glimpses of it, yet we cannot sustain our perception. We turn to beliefs and rituals and
stories of how it might have been, but we do not clearly remember our Selves before the
great sleep of seemingly perpetual earthly existence.

Then we meet One who reminds us our of Eternal nature. We are brought to a higher
consciousness through Love. All things are made clear. All problems become solutions. The
ticking clock of Time moves on but we have found Eternity between the seconds. We have
escaped in the arms of our Lover. Lifted high. Exalted. At the feet of Divine Love we
prostrate ourselves and dance to the celestial rhythm.

So it is Written. So it Is. So it shall for ever Be.

The Vows

Marriage is about much more than a partnership with privileges. Yes, we are talking about
sharing all things - intimately. But to achieve and sustain that intimacy there must be a
strong foundation built upon trust. The sacred union of matrimony is born of two forces:
connection and commitment and nurtured by the free flow of communication. When
these three elements are in good supply the Union flourishes.

____ and ____ understand these truths. They know the power of unity, of perseverance, of
sacrifice. They know that there is a higher level of freedom to be found through dedicating
themselves to each other; to their greater selves born of Unity.

In the words of St. Paul and of St. John (may He rest in peace): “Groovin’ up slowly. I
know you. You know me. One thing I can tell you is you got to be free. Come Together”.

The connection begins with an invitation. An invitation to know the depths of each other’s
souls, from the heart freely expressed and freely shared.

Once accepted and reciprocated the invitation evolves into a commitment. At the heart of
the commitment, in the quiet place where reason and desire find balance, there lies a
sacred place. From that sacred inner place emanates true intention. True intention is known
and declared as a solemn vow.

Today, in this ceremony of Love we honor the process with a reading of the poem,
Invitation. Following the reading, ____ and ____ will share their vows to each other.

Having arrived at a clear and meaningful declaration of intention through vows of Love
and commitment, the Lovers will proclaim their readiness to enter into Matrimony and will
give to each other the wedding ring, placing it on the finger and in the heart.

The Ring Ceremony

Will the keepers of the rings deliver their charge.

____ and ____, individually and as a couple, have spent considerable time and effort to
prepare themselves for this moment and their life together. Each in his and her own way
has asked the Universe to bring them together. Each has strived to make ready their hearts
for this Union. At first recognizing the potential of their connection and then calmly  and
methodically, with pure intention elevated themselves to receive the other. They have
shared their vows to each other in your presence.

____ – I ask you now. Here. In the presence of your family and dearest friends, are you
ready to honor your vows to ____? Ready to open your heart to her without constraint?
Ready to accept and embrace the Miracle of her unending, ever-revealing Love?
